Everytime I see an argument against same-sex marriage based on how the children deserves a biological mum and dad, I want to fucking smash somebody.

So many children grow up in happy households with single parents who never get access to one parent. There are also thousands of kids who have terrible upbringings due to emotional or physical abuse that occurs in families with both parents. Having your biological parents around DOES NOT GUARANTEE a happy upbringing! 

Now consider this! No gay people can “accidentally” have kids! They have to go through rigorous screening tests for adoption, finding suitable surrogate mothers or sperm donors. No child in a family with same-sex parents is unwanted! Zero. None. They are all super grateful for their kid.

(ALSO, IF KIDS ARE THE ONES WHO ARE AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE FOR PARENTAL REASONS AND IT’S ONLY ADULTS WHO HAVE “ROMANTICISED THE CONCEPT, WHY IS THE YOUNGER GENERATION SO MUCH MORE POSITIVE ABOUT GAY MARRIAGE THAN OLDER GENERATIONS, WHAT???)
